“Darkness and space extend in all directions. There is no discussing this in less than epic terms. Dragons are the one true rating system, and ‘Featherbrain’ is 100 percent dragons.” – The Quietus

Featherbrain is a risky album. Both dissonant and lyrical, it is music for headphones and notebooks. Its intimate, eccentric sounds demand your intimacy and your eccentricity, but the effort is rewarded: a personal and honest sonic world opens up, in fact, so sincere Hukkelberg had to toughen up to record it. Listen carefully.

“After one listen to this album, you’ll be freaked out. After several, you’ll start to pick it apart, to understand it, and you will end up raving about it to everyone you know.”
The Stool Pigeon

Supporting are Fireworks Night who lovingly embrace two of popular music’s most seductive elements; rhythm and the pleasure of the chorus. The intricate arrangements and compelling lyrical narratives of their previous records still remain but this time they are played by a band smitten with music as a vehicle for joy as well as sorrow, a combination which has made them an unusually exhilarating band – able at once to move feet, head and heart.

“A dizzyingly talented dash-cutting ensemble trading in claret confessionals and gravel voiced, tobacco-stained drama, all told via nigh-on perfect string accompaniment and fantastic songwriting flair.” – Drowned in Sound
